Anyone have a 3320 or3520

In your situation I understand how the hydrostat would be a better choice. I guess that is the good thing about options. We all have different situations and can choose what is best for us.

I only wish Deere would make a cab for my version of the 3520. Currently it is VERY COLD around here and having a cab would make plowing snow much more comfortable. I envy you.

It's very cold up here as well, 8 below right now, 26 below tonight. Even here in northern Maine that's well below normal for January if you can believe it.

During winter I spend well over 100 hours a month clearing snow with this tractor (and some hours on a borrowed larger tractor) so the cab was not really an option, it's a necessity. There are a lot of tractors and loaders on the roads here in winter and practically all of them have factory cabs. Those that don't have hydro usually have other movement-saving features such as electronic reverser which I like a lot personally. When I add a larger machine to my one-unit "fleet" next Fall this will be on top my option list along with MFWD (can't do snow without it). I'm considering the purchase of a new 7330 because I need a machine that can operate a 100" twin-screw industrial snowblower. Some of the contracts I will be handed over by an associate of mine who is retiring require it. I don't want to buy his monstrous 220hp machine because it's too large and cumbersome, very stressful to operate near buildings and cars.

I see quite a few NH TV145 (Bi-Directional) type tractors around here doing serious snow work with large twin screw blower on back and huge pusher on front. Swiveling the seat would sure beat swiveling head for me.

And it has hydro as well. How do you know what I dream about at night? :D

Unfortunately there are a few reasons why I couldn't use the TV145. 125 PTO HP is the bare minimum power requirement for the blower I will be using as per manufacturer specs. It would likely work with the TV145's 105 HP all the same but there would be warranty problems should I break something, not to mention commercial insurance issues. Speaking of insurance, for some reason premiums on articulated tractors are considerably higher than a similar size standard tractor. Maybe articulated machines are considered sports tractors, go figure.

Last but not least the TV145 is more expensive than the 7330. :(
