Did the 2016 come with power steering (EPS ) ? what color was it?

It does have the power steering I think that is the only way the le comes it is a sort of burgundy or purplish red I kind of liked it. For the price difference I could almost live with pink.

We have Mule Pro FX EPS 2016 with three cylinder engine. It is bare bones except for rearview mirrors and front winch. I am thinking to add a windshield and LED lights. Most lubrication points are reasonably accessible except the front gear oil. For that, you have to remove the front bumper. I intend to cut a "window" in the bumber to get access to it.

Before we bought it I checked Craigslist, local classified, tractor shopper etc for used Mules. There were only a few and all were quite expensive. In the same time, I observed there were many low hours Polaris Rangers for reasonable money. Therefore I draw a conclusion (right or wrong) that people like Kawa Mules and are happy to sell Polaris.
So far we like it even though it is not a perfect vehicle.
The manual is asking to check periodically tension of the drive belt but doesn't tell you how to do it. I guess it means to get it to the dealer or buy the service manual for 85 USD. The rest of the maintenance is pretty straightforward I suppose.
Somebody mentioned 45 mph speed. Our makes about 36 mph.
To change range, switch between RWD/AWD or engage differential lock you have to stop.
I need to find out if the engine has hydraulic lifters or need a periodical valve clearance adjustment.
Edit: No hydraulic lifters. Valves adjusted by shims placed on a tappet.
Bed load 1000 lb.
Towing in the low range 2000 lb.
It has adjustable spring preload on the struts.

Glad you mentioned the speed yours goes I rode it at the dealer he had a big lot in the back but only got up in the low twenties, not enough area to go faster. I want one that will cruise easily at 35 or so and still be a workhorse. I'll have to check it out further.

Mine tops out at 35. fast enough. i use it only on my property. A neighbor bought a new can am.

alot faster (but you HAVE to have doors on and seat belts on to run at high speeds due to lockouts). Mine doesnt have doors, and i dont want doors. what a pain those would be for what i use mine for. i like the bench seat on the mule far more than his can am bucket seats.

but again to each their own.

the wife LOVES the electric over hydraulic dump bed.

I've had a Pro Fxt for a couple of years now and never once had to stop to put it in four wheel drive. I do think they recommend you being at 10mph or under though, which is never a problem. For anyone thinking about one of these I highly recommend it. I sold a Polaris Ranger 900 and bought mine and it was a good decision. Other than routine maintenance, we've had to do nothing to it. I did get the full glass windshield which really helped. I was originally worried about it not having a front locking differential but the way I use it that fear has never been an issue. This thing goes really well in just 2wd and everywhere I need to in 4wd. It may not be the fastest out there but it's built like a tank and is perfect for the farm.

I still have not purchased one but is the one I like best. I read reviews where top speed is 47 miles per hour on the pro fxt le anyone know for sure how fast they go?

I will test it for you tomorrow. I am pretty sure it will not go over 40.

It will go comfortably 37. When pressed to the floor and going slight downhill it will creep to over 40 and the speed governor will kick in at 45. The engine is really screaming at any speed over 35.

Bought a new 2017 base model yesterday. It rides like a Cadillac compared to my old ranger EV. Steers extremely easy with no power steering. Glad I saved $1800 and the black has a cool tactical look.
