Big game cartridge. Expensive.

What are you planning to do? A .30-06 will easily take out just about any wild game in North America for less $$$

.416 Rigby......good for large appliances and small dinosaurs!

Old time cartridge (1911) that has seen a resurgence in the last ten years or so when a number of new rifles have been chambered for it. Works well in a bolt rifle which is one of the reasons for its success. Expensive to shoot and not for the recoil intolerant.
Good caliber for dangerous game which is what it was designed for - pretty much too much gun for most other things unless you are a real Elmer Keith proponent - JMHO

It's suitable for any animal that walks the planet... It's overkill on anything in North America except the big bears.

i like big bore stuff. I shoot .50ae and 500mag in pistols.. i know a rifle is different mind you.. but if I buy big.. I expect big sound and lots of force.. both for my shoulder and what it hits.. etc. besides.. with something like that.. I doubt it takes many shots to get the outcome you are looking for...
