Anyone heard of forks with a push-off feature?

I had trouble putting the grapple on the SS. It wouldn't quite fit, but then I had to modify it to make it fit my Kubota properly, so that may have been the problem. Nothing a brief grinder session wouldn't fix, no doubt, but I was in a hurry and in the middle of the woods (no grinder, no power). So I tried the forks, and they worked quite well overall. The grapple may not have worked as well, as I tried using it with the tractor on occasions and there was just too much stuff in the way with the upper jaw, and the wider frame vs the forks. The forks really worked quite well, it was just that difficulty in getting the rocks off the fork right where you wanted them that I was thinking of trying to improve. On a few rocks, I would have loved to have a push off as it would have saved me 20 min of futzing around to get the rock in place properly on each of those. Many plopped right in place easily, but certainly not all...

was going to say scissors inside of the forks. but that would just cause forks to wide there width or shorten there width as in how far apart they are.

perhaps welding a pulley near end of forks. or maybe a gear. and using some chain and a motor of some sort on back side of the main frame for the forks. *shrugs*

last second thought i doubt pulley or a chain or even cable would hold up. from abuse forks would go through. and more likely rip off or get tangled up in stuff.
