Thanks! ;)

Delivered today! 15 degrees outside with snow. Even with windshield and top, didn't stay on it too long. First impressions were great. Looking forward to a littler warmer weather to check it out more. It certainly has plenty of power and pull. It also rides better than I expected. The long wheelbase probably helps with that. I really like the metal roof and glass w/s that Kubota has designed for this unit. I will try to get better pics up soon to show how it fits.
It will be used extensively on the farm. It will great to have the usefulness of a small truck for day-to-day chores, but with something much easier to maneuver around our 25 acres.

this pic taken quickly with cell phone. sorry for the poor quality

Did not know Kubota had such a version. Sharp looking unit. Congratulations. When can I come borrow it?

I hope doors are available. Other wise it is a cold winter ride. Long wheel base... does it take quite a distance to turn around ? Is the engine same spec as the 900 ?

I think it's the 1100 engine with the 900 front end.

Yes, it's basically a stretched RTV900 with the more powerful RTV1100 engine and matching HST/VHT. It also has a convertible cargo bed similar to the Kawasaki Mule Trans 4x4.

It has a 95 inch wheelbase! Yes, it does take some space to turn it around. Sure does ride great though. It has the larger engine. I believe it weighs in at around 2400 lbs. For my purposes, it is perfect. It obviously isn't a trail rig. The bed is considerably longer than the 900 when in 1 seat configuration. The hydraulic dump works in either configuration. It only takes a few minutes to convert. This one also has the new VHT+ with less issue of sudden stops, quicker power to wheels and pressing the brake releases hydro pressure to make shifting easier. From my limited use so far, all these things do really work as advertised.
2 more pics - still just cell phone pics so not great quality, but shows both configurations.

It's been a while, do you still feel good about the machine? What are the positives, what are you criticisms?

Kent, welcome to TBN!!

I've had an 1140 for about a year....awesome machine, love it. There have been updates in the last year or so that resolved some concerns a few people had with the early versions of the 1140, I use mine all the time, have couple hundred hours on it. No failures except tire puncture from sharp busted root. I suggest you start a thread discussing your needs and interests. There are some threads already, you can find them by searching, where RTV'S are discussed. I've added quite a number of extra features to mine which customize it for my use. It's a work horse...top speed around 25mph, which is PLENTY for ranch travel. It's a TOOL, not a TOY. If you want to zip around and catch air, it's not the vehicle for you. I've pulled a 1000 gallon metal tank trailer filled with water with it. It has limitations, but it's flexibility to carry people, gear, pull trailers, etc. combined with easy in, easy out is just what I need. Saves my knees and many steps, daily.

I've got about 100 hours on my 1140. No complaints so far.

Have had mine for almost 2 years. Just did 50 hour service on it. Got it to spend time with Grand kids (Twin Boy and Girl now 7). Grandson loves driving it and has for the 2 years I've owned it. Didn't expect to use it much except for driving it around with the kids but I use it often. I have a covered place for it but usually leave it out for easy/quick access. It is a work horse and not a speed demon. I've added top from Barlows and made a windshield for mine. Getting ready to install a backup camera on it which I've had for over a month, just haven't gotten the hole drilled in the cover plate for the off on switch, yet.
Sips fuel and I have no complaints. No, it doesn't turn on a dime.:)
