The wife and I always have always loved the larger cars.We have owned 4 buick lesabres(1993,2000,2002,2004)lincoln 1999 and a 1979 caddy coupe deville.I call them old fart cars that are just plain cruisersToday we purchased a 2004 lincoln town car with 34,000 miles in excellent condition. We love the ride and room the bigger cruisers have to offer verses todays offerings:dance1:
Our 2004 lincoln town car ultimate we just bought with 34,000 miles on the OD cost us $7500 bucks. We thought it was a real bargain because it,s in excellent condition and stickered for over $50,000 grand.May agree with you. In 2006 we bought a 2000 Town car with 70K miles for $6K and are now at 162K miles. Just redone the bottom side for $2K so it is tight again with new brakes. I thought it was worth it to keep it up in good condition. It has been a good car and in mixed driving (live 18 miles from town) it is averaging 20.2 MPG per the computer. My 6'2" 17 year old son loves the leg room.
I know, I'm just kiddin. The car of course. One tha can be lowered a few inches for loading and unloading.
I've seen the trailer tongue wheel a few times and I think it is still made... (Or Not)

Always thought anything other than a straight line drive would be problematic...
That 1970 Pickup with the rear coil springs had a 350 with auto... no radio or A/C
Later my brother got a 1974 half ton chevy pickup with leaf springs in the back and A/C what luxury!
Then he bought an F250 4wd, 1978 model and it was way underpowered for towing horse trailers... also like to wander... not fun to drive.
I never towed anything with it, but I bought a new 1969 C10 pickup, short bed, 6 cyl., manual; absolutely cheapest one made and in those days some had coil rear springs, some had leaf. .
Snuck in to a lot of drive ins that way.
