At the recent Cub Cadet meeting they had the models introduced this year past as well as some new models for the dealers to look at. The Yanmar people were there with a strong showing and many of the dealers expressed strong interest in the new line-up.
The yanmar quality is what gave JD a good jump with compacts when they came into the compact tractor business. The models more directly from Yanmar are the most highly regarded JD's for the product integerty for endurance with a low overall cost of ownership with the least repairs in the green line-up.
After operating these tractors and seeing them in use I don't think that anyone can discount the quality that is being given to the buyers from this merger of the two companies.

um ,, not trying to pick a fight or anything, but quite few cc's were made by daedong (kioti)

List of tractors built by other companies - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Don't worry, your not. My tractor had, in one inch letters on the axles, MADE IN CHINA. having owned the tractor for two years, having had it in the shop numerous times, and having received almost no support from the company itself, I don't have anything nice to say about them. The reason I got rid of it was twofold, the service manager at the dealership told me that it would probably be in my best interests, and two, I wanted to go bigger.

If you compare the new bumblebee colored CCs against a comparable Kioti, the Kioti's hyrdaulics were superior in every way. Of course this is just one rednecks opinion based on his own research, and having gotten an advanced specification sheet on the new tractors from the dealer. I went with Kioti, for hydraulics, warranty, and mass of tractor, not to mention more metal than plastic. I hope that everyone who buys the bumblebee CC loves them, they last forever, and they produce great things with them. I actually like the color scheme, but living in PA it may be a Steeler thing.

I have seen one in person. They are almost exactly like the JD 790. Just different sheet metal, paint, and a few more Horses'.

A few things that I think about when I see the new CC-Yanmar.

1. 1100 lb 3pt hitch lift capacity on a 32hp compact - are you kidding me? That right there is a deal killer for me when I can get other 30hp machines with 600-700 lbs more 3pt lift capacity.

2. Although it may be a Yanmar at heart, it will probably be overpriced as all Cub Cadet's seem to be nowadays. We had a Yanmar back in the early 90's when they were legally importing them into the US, had ROPS, everything (labels, stickers, manuals) in English, and it was priced right and was a very reliable machine. That's what made those Yanmars such great machines - the quality and the price. Now, the Yanmar-at-heart machines seem to me to be overpriced - not the value that they once were.

3. I've noticed that the bees like orange better than red. No way I'd want a cabless yellow and black machine like this new one in yellowjacket country.

1100 seems unbelievably low, it must be a typo. Maybe its supposed to be KG?

Kg would put it at about 2400 lb. Kind of high?

At our county fair back in September, the dealer had one sitting there with a 6 foot bushhog behind it, PTO connected and looking ready to go to work. I don't know if it would lift or pull that mower, but it looked impressive.

:

The 1100 is listed at 24" behind the lift point which is a little light for the size but for many it will be more then what they need. It is always good before going shopping to identify your needs!
