The 1100 is listed at 24" behind the lift point which is a little light for the size but for many it will be more then what they need. It is always good before going shopping to identify your needs!

OK, maybe for a smaller frame, but for frame size like the JD 3X20's it doesn't come close:

JD 3120 specs:
Lift Capacity (24-in. behind link arms), 2200 lb.
Lift Capacity @ lift link ends, 2530 lb.

Kubota BX23 specs:
Lift Capacity (24-in. behind link arms), 680 lb.
Lift Capacity @ lift link ends, 1211 lb.

Kubota B7800 specs:
Lift Capacity (24-in. behind link arms), 1300 lb.
Lift Capacity @ lift link ends, 1655 lb.

Not sure what the logic is for such a low rating with the given frame size. Even the B7800 as it beat..

A few things that I think about when I see the new CC-Yanmar.

1. 1100 lb 3pt hitch lift capacity on a 32hp compact - are you kidding me? That right there is a deal killer for me when I can get other 30hp machines with 600-700 lbs more 3pt lift capacity.

That is exactly what turned me off also. I stopped at the local dealer and look it over. it looks like a well built machine. did not like much plastic they used. did not like the design of drive shaft for front wheel drive. what really bothered me was horrible attitude that the dealer had. He kept arguing that I did not know what I talked about when it came to 3 point lift and kept asking you will have an implement that heavy so no need for more lift. He told me the engineer's know better than Little ole me:rolleyes: I did not let Mr. knuckle head that " I are an engeeeneer too" . I'm not looking for HST but Yanmar quality is certainly a magnet for me. About 16k will get you the 32 hp machine along with the loader does not sound bad. It is bigger than 790 but smaller than 990.I took few pics to study them later on. I'll post a few , if anyone want more please chime in. One thing is for sure I will not step inside that dealership:mad:

JC,

P.S. i have that set of pics at work. I'l post a few on Monday.

As promised.

Not a bad looking tractor with the exception of low 3-point lift. They do not offer quick attach for the cub loader which is bummer.

Engine compartment:

Front axle and drive shaft:

Front wheel drive shaft in to transmission. Wondered how the power is coupled. I bit it may be like CV joint and you can pull the shaft out of a splined hub. I don't know yet if I like the design.

JC,

P.s Have more pics of other components. Let me know if you want any specific.

It looks like a well made machine. I see many grease zirks.
Could be U joints on the front shaft. My BX23 has much more pivot and has U joints small enough to fit in that rubber cover.
I passed a Cub dealer the other day that had about 3 of these machines out front. I couldn't stop then but may stop at a later date. I'm not looking to trade but do enjoy checking out the new machinery.
Thanks for the pics, do post more.

So it looks like it only has one brake pedal. Probably doesn't matter with the hydro pedals on the right hand side, unless a person has 2 right feet, or some really long flexible and strong toes.

Mornin Guys,
I cant really comment on the Cub Cadet compacts other than the pictures I just viewed posted byJC Jetro, thanks ! Looks like descent quality in the pictures.

A friend of mine that works at HD steered me away from the Cub Cadet zero turn mowers that HD sells. I ended up buying Toro, but out of John Deere, Toro and Cub Cadet which HD was selling this past season, by far the manufacturer with the most problems were Cub Cadet. I really dont have any figures from other stores to compare his comments to but CC definitely caused HD some headaches !

Safety! I don't think this pedal arrangement is safe. Granted we think the hydro is a substitute for brakes but I do 99% of my tractor on a 45 degree slope and use the brakes on a regularly basis. This pedal arrangement is not user friendly at best. At worst, this is a lawyers wet dream.

Good luck Cub-Cadet!

45 DEGREES????

1 foot down for every 1 foot traveled???

Where are you working?

It is not typical, but, located in Wisconsin. It is a small chuck of land, just 1 acre with a great view on a very steep slope. I am half way through a five year project to terrace the lot and improve the drainage. The first project for the tractor was to use the backhoe to create a level spot to park it. Some days it is a lot like the movie Waterworld with Kevin Costner. But instead of them trying to find dry land, I dream about finding flat land.
