I wouldn't be afraid of it, they are pretty simple machines. IMHO, a lot of folks mow too short, and cause most of their own problems. If you are scalping the ground, it too low. I leave my pasture about 6 to 8 inches high. Keeps out the woody growth, doesn't tear things up. A lot less drama, a no rock throwing.

If it fits your budget, go for it. Rotary cutters are pretty simple machines that repair easily with flat plate and welding. If the gearbox gives out it is pretty easy to find replacements without having to go through the original equipment manufacturer.

I agree with this statement.

And in keeping with the TBN tradition of spending your money... I'll be looking forward to your report on how it performs under your conditions! How else do we find out about new manufacturers and the performance of their implements/equipment until someone actually buys it and puts it through its paces.

I don't think you'll go wrong.

The mower looks to be fairly well built with a floating top link and plenty of deck bracing. The sides look to be made from channel iron (thickness of deck and channel cant be ascertained from the photo) but it looks OK. Rotary cutters are fairly generic in the gear boxes, stump jumpers and blades with the only thing between a light duty and heavy duty being the thickness of the steel. The thicker the steel deck is the less flexing and the longer it will last before succumbing to rust and corrosion.

If the price meets your approval, go for it.

I’d be weary of anything Chinese made, especially the cheap no name junk. Bush hogs tend to take a lot of abuse and spare parts will be a problem. This stuff is good if you have a fab shop and enjoy re-welding and re-building equipment.

If you want reliability spend the money on quality name brand. Otherwise you are just buying it twice.

I don't think it can be much worse than the low end american made implements their selling at the box stores these days, some of this items are so bad that's it's depressing to see a made in USA label on them.

It looks like a King Kutter painted red except for the rear tire.
