Anyone using a BX on a PTO generator?

I have a 10kW Leroy Somer I got from Surplus Center I run off a BX2200. My BX is a 2001, and has no seat safety interlock that I know of. There is a red button under the seat that looks like it might be a switch, but it doesn't do anything as far as I can tell.

Even if it did work, I would disable it - I am constantly on and off the tractor.

The "red button" isn't a button but rather the vent cap for the hydrostatic tranny.
