I purchased these back in January for the same purpose your considering them for. I have a long asphalt driveway that's in pretty rough shape with cracks and uneven spots. Even though it's in rough shape I didn't want to make it any worse by catching the bucket edge on cracks or lips so I purchased these and they work great. Only con is they do leave a thin layer of snow behind, maybe a 1/2 inch if that. You also can't back blade with them on but I can take them off and on in about 30 seconds. In my opinion they were a good investment. I thought they were a little pricey for what they were but they are very well built and heavy duty. Also works great if your removing snow on any grassy areas as wellCame across this product in reviewing postings but I don't see much discussion about it, or its effectiveness here on TBN. My application is on an old macadam/asphalt driveway. The drive is uneven in places and broken up a bit down by the road. Also, I do have to push snow up over the lawn along the drive and parking area. What do you think? Thanks for your input!
