I installed such piece today, and though I only had enough time to install it, it appears there may be some issues with the loader hoses? Anyone else install one of these on the Class 1 boomers?

I had a grill guard installed on my TC24DA when i bought it. I like it and have had no troubles at all.

I just added one to my TC18 yesterday. I don't have a loader so I can't answer your question. I will ask another though. Does anyone use front weights with theirs? The guard will not open all the way. I use suitcase weights not the New Holland ones. It does not interfere with opening the hood though.

My guard doesn't open all the way either, just tilts forward some. As long as you can open the hood I would guess your all set.

I figured that was all the farther it opened.

I don't know if this will help since you have a 24D, as mine is a 24DA. I changed the 45 fitting on the green and yellow lines to a straight one. No more twisted, rubbing together fittings. Much easier to plug-in and unplug plus, it does not seem to run on the grille guard. Hopefully this pic will help.

Another from the other side. I also put a couple of black wire ties behind the female couplers to keep the colored bands from sliding up the steel lines and in behind the joystick housing. Hope this helps.

I had the dealer install one of the grill guards before I took delivery of my TC24D. Glad I did, it has saved me a couple of times. I've not had any problems with the loader hoses hitting the guard. One thing I notice different about Mega_Me's is he has 45/90 elbows on his hoses, my hoses have no elbows what so ever. I do run my hoses a little bit different then what they were from the dealer though. I run them up over the frame and actually almost under the hood. The way they were originally run the tire would hit them. I actually wore some spots on the cover. I'll try to get some pictures tonight.
