April SNOW in TEXAS!!!

For you Texans,
I live in NY, but in the late '70's or possibly early '80's I distinctly remember a court case going on where someone in TX had been getting kickbacks for buying snow removal equipment. Obviously this was not needed. However, during the trial, there was a snowstorm that laid down a few inches, and of course the lawyer for the defense jumped right on that. "Your Honor, please look out the window. Obviously my client was just being proactive......" ;-)
I never heard about the outcome. I suppose if they had good evidence of the actual kickbacks that he was toast anyway.

About a week ago there was some pictures of corn about 4 to 5 inches tall covered with snow on our local news. It was in Texas but I did not catch where in Texas.

Cool rattler! If they put that picture on the cover of the Dallas Morning News, I'd bet you there would be a lot less people stopping on the side of the road and wading up into the bluebonnets to take pictures.
