Has anyone used a 6 wheel drive aquatic atv. I need something to spray from the water on drainage ditches where my tractor cant get to the ditch bank. Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated.

Argo's probably the best out there. My neighbour runs a 8wd one. Thing is unstoppable . He regularly takes it fishing with several people in it without problems.

I would like to put a 50 gal tank on it. I am looking at a MaxIV 6 wheeler. Maybe I should look at an 8 wheeler.

Thats 420 LBS + pump and other equipment.

A 8wd, on land seats 6 however on water its capacity is 4. Id probably be looking at 8wd. Argo 8wd has 1000 LBS capacity on water.

6wd is only able to carry 2 on water.


Is this for fire protection?
If so heres one of their Centaur commercial models geared up for that with a description

Before they had the Commercial Centaur line, there used to be pics on the company website of a 8wd geared up with pumps and hose reels for fire prevention, there gone now, but it looked similar to the centaur.

I will look for an 8 wheel machine this winter. I do about 100 miles of ditch if you count both sides. I will only use it on about 5 miles so I dont want to buy anew one. Thanks
