Aquilon debris blower

I’m looking for information about an Aquilon pro blower I purchased today. It seams to run ok but looks to have a small oil leak at the gearbox seal, it’s a Comer gearbox and I really don’t want to take the whole thing apart to see the model and serial number but there are numbers on the casing I can read. Attached is the manual for this blower and it was made in 1993. Unfortunately many of the parts such as the gearbox and the driveline are no longer available.

If you got the seal out in one piece and matched it up or got numbers off it.. I would just use the corn head grease people use it in bush hog mowers and I have a 3'' Trash pump that I use it in the gear box.....

I do have some corn head grease , I think I will drain the existing oil and put in the corn head grease.
I’m guessing that you put it in up to the oil fill plug??

I would put in 2 tubes run it then check the level.. I put 2 in the trash pump and filled it from the top vent

I would pull the bottom of the gear box off and clean it out before I replaced the oil in the gear box. It's not something you have to do but it's an easy way to clean all of the debris out of the gear box.

I drained it and removed the pan this morning, gear oil looked dirty but not bad so I cleaned things up and put in 2.5 tubes of corn head grease.
I'll update when I get a chance to run it.
