Tires Are My Tires Flled?

/ Are My Tires Flled? #11
When I bought my new B2920 8 month ago, the dealer told me he filled the tires. This was important to me so I asked him again when the tractor was delivered about the filled tires, he told me they were filled.

Dealer did fill them, with air :D

Would the delivery person know if the tires where filled? I agree make a friendly call to your dealer and explain to him that the tires are full of air and not fluid. Is there any mention of this on the sales receipt or was it all a gentlemens agreement?

Good luck

Besides that, I would think it an honest mistake anyway since it's so easy to check fluid.

A nice phone call to the dealer should help clear it up...

Greg

Agreed.

Something as simple for a new owner to find out about, I dont think they intentionally tried to screw you.

Thats like taking a car in for new tires, and they just rotated your bald ones. Kinda obvious and hard to pull off.

So I guess I am in the "honest mistake" camp. Either way, a call to the dealer should clear it up. And depending on how he reacts, should tell you weather it is just a mistake, or something else.

Just to make sure they're not filled (wich would be a surprise), lift the rear axel on one side with a jack and remove a tire.

If it's filled with something, you'll know it. It's quite heavy.

Don't drop it on the floor you'll have a hard time to put it up.

If you paid extra for it, ask them to come and verify it. The dollars are peanuts compared to the machine. If you have the stems on my tires near the ground and depress the valve stem you will get wet.

don't do that........if its filled it could fall and injure/kill someone. I'm not sure how large this tire is, but the filled tire on my Kioti weigh in at about 450 pounds each. If no fluid comes out when stem is at 6 oclock..theres no fluid in it. I agree...call the dealer.

There's a huge difference in the way the machine works without filled tires on a 2920,,,,, can you pickup a full bucket without feeling like the reared is light?,,,,,my 2920 feels evenly balanced with the bucket full or when digging with it,,,my previous tractor would lift the rear end when digging without ballast ( filled tires) or an implement
