I think a lot of it anymore is a lack of “community “
People today are generally pigs so long as they can get away with it and no one sees them I equate it to bad parenting and low moral values. The tire post reminds they did a collection about 20 years ago. There was about 4 tires dumped in a deep culvert not on my property but close. I climbed down in there and dug them out and turned them in. I don’t want to sound like a martyr but I’ve done a lot of bicycle riding lately and you notice a lot more things when you travel at 14 mph instead of 50 mph.

What is about to happen with the UAW and the not so big 3 in September. Already happened with Yellow Freight (YRC). Companies can only bend so far and that is it.I think in many cases the unions price themselves out of the market
I know, I live just outside of a small village and people think my road is a trash bin…. But I suspect it is only a small percentage of the total populationPeople have dumped trash on the sides of roads for as long as roads have existed. I don’t know where people get off on the idea of suggesting only a particular generation does it.
Mostly in urban areas, not so much out here in flyover country. Chicago is a prime example of bad parenting for instance. Kids out here learn responsibility at a young age along with respect and how to handle firearms correctly as well. Not all but most. Out here, kids, if they can reach the foot pedals are driving big tractors as well as farm trucks all the time. Put an urban kid in that situation and they won't have a clue but would want to know where the cell phone was.5030, there you go generalizing again….
Possibly a percentage of the population maybe? But generally?!?!?!
From what I see (and have to pick up) it's getting worse. I will say that an old discarded bed spring makes a dandy drag.People have dumped trash on the sides of roads for as long as roads have existed. I don’t know where people get off on the idea of suggesting only a particular generation does it.
