I know the 716 sub frame wasn't compatible with the loader sub frame.

Are the new front blades 72CBH and 84CBH compatible? Pops is thinking future use for snow removal.... He could go with a loader mounted blade ala curtis.

Just go with the quick attach blade. About 2000.00 will get you a 7' quick attach that will go right on to the bucket quick attach. With a hose kit to the front you just run the blade with your rear remote.

Thanks spencer. I figured that would be the way to go on the bigger machines...

I'm still working on the plow for my TC18. It's been a year now /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif. Currently taking a welding class to beef up my skills.

The actual answer to the question is yes they are compatible. And Spencer may like to sell loader mounted plows, but I have to go out and make folks happy to use that setup; that can be tough. I wouldn't take a loader mounted blade, Curtis or otherwise, for free.

We have never had a problem with any loader mounted blade we have sold. Never a complaint and we have sold many all of our customers are happy we direct them this way instead of a snow blower or tractor mounted blade. Must be something in your set up! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yeah, we are a bunch of idiots. Heaven forbid anyone have an opinion differing from Spencer 200's.

Having had small tractors with frame mount 4 way front blades (deere 650 deere 750 and IH 154) I can tell you that I way prefer a blade right in front of the machine.
On my TC35D with quick attach, between the length of the loader arms and the added length of the QA frame, my Curtiss blade is so far out front that I can't clean inside corners 'cuz the tractor is on the inside of the corner and the blade is not.
In heavy snow an angled blade pushes the machine sideways with such leverage that even brake steering into it isn't enough. If the front blade packages from NH were more affordable, I'd sell the Curtiss in a minute.
The same features that make the loader "bucket friendly", visibility etc. work the opposite with the plow. It's just too far out front.

Spencer. Have you ever gotten any feedback similar to mine? Any advice?

The only time we have had a customers front end slide around is when a customer did not take our advice and put on a bigger blade than we reccomended. This tends to happen more on the smaller class one tractors.
