I borrowed the disks from a guy up the road. They cut the soil like butter. Don't know the make or model but I know he buys a lot of his equipment @ TSC. Heres a pic of the disc

Hey Robby,

I read on the Buying/Pricing Section, where JoeRocker, found a very nice 135 Massey Ferguson. It really sounds like a Peach and a Peach of a Deal. It is only 37 years old and still in the Prime of it's Life, with just a tad bit over 2000 hours on the clock, the tractor is just barely broken in. Only one little bitty small defect, the PTO won't work properly, which is just a minor glitch In it's working Life. It is a real Jem, with manual steering and 2 wheel drive, No Canopy, but Basking in the Summer Sun, will help to season the Operator.

I always miss out on the really good deals, and it is always somebody else that finds them before I do. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

What is your point ? The fellow would like input on chinese tractors. Not 37 year old tractors that will not function. Robby

I personally wouldn't buy something that old. It's like an old double barreled shotgun. Lots of stories behind it. Wonder where it has been and what kind of abuses have been done over the years. If you are well versed on what you are buying and know you not getting ripped off and desire the item then buy it. There are newer tractors not matter what brand out there, where everything works and may be a great machine at the same cost. It's all in what you want. I usually like to buy new for the warranty and know the maintinance by me was done right. The oil might not have been changed in 5 years on used stuff and you'd never know it. To Each their own....... I'm happy with my Chinese tractor. It had issues in the begining but has been great since...

So, Chinese are out, and used Japanese (greys) and American are in.

Now my problem is which direction to go in. Since they're BOTH used I might as well go for the MF.

Hey Robby,

This is what he wrote, in the buying pricing section.

It doesn't sound like he is very much interested in the Chinese Tractors now. Course after a few years with that 37 year old Massey Ferguson, He might very well broaden his horizon's once again. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hey John,

Thank God, the Chinese made a New Tractor Available to us, at an affordable cost.

I have seen your pictures of the work that you have done with your tractor, and it has performed admirably for you. I enjoy reading stories such as yours and seeing the actual results, of the work that your tractor has done.

It is the same with me, as well. I would have been in a world of trouble, without my Chinese Tractor to do the hard work, for me.

As you have said,"Your Tractor Has Allready Paid for Itself".

A couple hundred more hours on mine and it will have paid for itself also. At 20 to 25 Dollars an Hour, it doesn't take long, to pay for your own tractor, versus, paying someone else or renting a tractor.
