They look like the recent ones I purchased directly. Not like those I bought 6 or 7 years ago. Don’t care for the new design that latches the locking lever engaged. Doesn’t latch on the right hand side any of my attachments. The attachment itself gets in the way of being able to engage it. Not a big deal. My older set doesn’t include the latching feature and never had a problem needing it to be latched. The spring tensions appears to be sufficient by itself.

With the locks turned the way pix shows, wouldn't lock the lever. I put cheap zipties around the lock and lever so it will not come unlocked.

Yeah, the zip ties would work.

I told the sales folks at Pats Quick Hitch about the design issue but never got any response. The latches should be mirror images instead of just alike. I suspect the new “improved” design is by someone who never used a 3 pt hitch attachment.

Never had a problem with the older set that didn’t include the latches.

One thing I will caution you about: My dealer cut the PTO shaft on the rototiller I purchased with my BX2200 so it would mount safely. Then later, I added the Pat's hookup. Shortly after, I was tilling, the rear tire rolled over a large dirt clump, and the PTO separated. These things are so short linked, the shafts are short. I fixed it by removing the pto shafts and buying longer at a local driveshaft store. Just something to think about.

I have one or two implements where the drive shaft was a bit short when adding the Pat's......and a couple that have the blasted "collar" that needs to be pulled backward while pushing the coupler forward onto the PTO shaft (grrrrrrrr......I hate those couplers). ANYWAY.....I have a Speedco PTO extension that makes it easy to connect the PTO on those having the collar coupler (my extension has the cross-push-pin).......and it also adds about 3" to the PTO shaft length - which is just what was needed for my fertilizer spreader and posthole digger. Cheap / easy solutions.
