Quick Hitches Are they all the same

I've gotten prices from $89 to $279. Are they all coming from China? TSC has a SpeeCo for $279 and includes top and pin adapters. I'd pay the extra if they were made here. Can anyone shed light on this?

Guessing that you are talking about a 3pt quick hitch??? :confused3: They all work the same, but no the build quality is not the same. I would say that any of them would work fine for your 3016. But that $89 unit may not fair quite so well behind a 5035.

Blain's Farm & Fleet has the best price I was able to find on a quality Speeco hitch. They also ship all the adapters that others sell separately. Shipping is also cheap at around $20 UPS.

Missed your USA made question.. For Cat.1 comparison.
SpeeCo wt. 73 lbs., made in Golden, Colorado.
Imatch. wt. 60 lbs., country of mfg not specified.
Harbor Freight 54 lbs. made in China

From a visual standpoint SpeeCo appears to be the most substantial of the 3.

Sorry for the oversight about what the heck I was talking about. Brian, its a good thing you are as intuitive as my wife. Its also a good thing you don't live here as I do not think i could stand two of you in the same house. Thom and Roger: thanks for your input and info. The SpeeCo looks more to my liking. The 3016 is more than capable of dragging in a 2000 lb stem and my lift at the 3pt is 2600 lbs so it could be a good idea to get the better built ones. Thanks for the light guys!.
