Are WalMart SuperTech oils worth it?

Are WalMart SuperTech branded oils, synthetic & dino, worth it or not? Same question with their gear oil and tractor trans oil? Yes or no?

I've read a lot of favorable comments lately. Seems it might be the same product the big names sell but without the obligatory nosebleed markup?

BUT I DO HAVE a funny story.. I was watching an old Gas Monkey Garage re-run & they were "breaking in" a freshly rebuilt engine that WASNT ran/run on a dyno..
You can clearly see them pouring Super Tech oil in the engine.. 5 minutes later the engine started knocking & idling like it was running on 3 cylinders..
They pulled it down & found the cam shaft had eaten itself.. along w/ the tappets..
What they concluded was> they were "supposed to" run it w/ a special break-in oil.. but instead.. they used WM oil & ADDED a break-in substitute.
After the 2nd rebuild, it clearly shows them pouring in "Royal Purple" break in oil.. lol

I've been using their grease and gear oil in all my stuff (truck, cars, tractor, mowers, tiller, Etc.) for many years. Works fine.
I ran their tractor/transmission fluid in one of my tractor changes (I generally run around 800 hours between hydraulic fluid changes in my tractor). Worked fine

I work in a plant that blends and bottles lubricants, including Supertech. I cant go into details due to confidentiality issues, but I can assure you its good stuff... 'just as good' as some other major brands, if you catch my drift. I use it in my vehicles, as well as any other brand I see us bottling and shipping out the door.

I run it in my old 97 Tahoe hunting truck, which I just put a new thunderbolt rebuilt engine in it a while back. Seems to do fine. I’m not sure who makes it but I bet it’s a major brand. Citgo makes lot of branded lube oils, so does Chevron. No telling who makes it. I read somewhere about a guy running it in a new Corvette. It’s cheap for Synthetic oil.

Yeah, I would imagine most, if not all private brand fluids are the same thing as the name brands, without the brand name on the bottle.
I've been using Supertech oil in all my vehicles (not tractor though) with no problems whatsoever. I generally use TS-brand diesel oil in the tractor, name brand only if it's on sale. Then again, I change oil regularly, never try to push recommendations.

Warren Distribution AKA Warren Performance Products bottles oil for private labels - like SuperTech.

Looked at a bottle in front of me and There is a WNE on the bottom, though others may have WPP. Not to be confused with Warren Oil, a different company, who bottles oil for some others.
