Nothin' like havin' a nice warm Kioti to snuggle up to/w3tcompact/icons/love.gif. The only thing better would be a whole pack. Really just thought y'all might want to give 'em a shot. The DK45 w/self leveler is an awesome piece of equip.

Here's another few words....this is not an arugument like "Who's better, Chevy or Ford?"....it's more like "Who's better, Chevy or Kia?"

I had one good shot, and took it. Dropped that Deere 4300 just like I very carefully planned and executed, and couldn't be happier. I don't worry about value holding up, parts availability, a dealer in business, or a company in business in the future. I think it was the best investment I could make, given that I have what I wanted and am happy. And yes, if that is loyalty, I am <font color=red>that loyal<font color=black>. Don't mean to brag, but I think it was smart too. But I believe to each his own. I sincerely hope you will be happy with your shot.

I think the big problem is being unsure if the Kioti is the Toyota of the 70's or a Yugo of the 80's. I wouldn't have taken the risk on either one of these....maybe I'm too careful. One was a raging success while the other...../w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

I have read the post in regards to brand loyalty. I look at Kabota as a leader in this size equipment. I have just purchased an L48 and sold my L2900 which was an excellent tractor just a little short on HP. I still own a KX121, and a B2400. I can tell you from first hand experience that Kabota makes a very reliable, affordable equipment and has excellent resale value with very good service coverage.I have looked at the alternatives and in most cases everyone is trying to copy Kobota's success , Kobota is an innovator and in many cases first to market and when I make an investment that is what I look for, the company that will get me to the next level not the company with the lowest price. price is only one component of the marketing mix.
I am not saying that the other are bad, in most cases they are very good. What I am saying is when you have a winner their is little incentive to move to a competitor.
