Armadillos

What part of Illinois are you in? The wife and I were in Branson Missouri this summer and I told her I saw an armadillo along the side of the road. She said I was seeing things, but if you are in Illinois there is a good chance I saw one.

I'm in Ellis Grove, IL, about 60 miles south of St. Louis, right on the river. I caught a little one in the yard, and there have been several hit on the road. I didn't see as many this year, but last year it was becoming pretty common to see them dead along the road.

I don't mind the armadillo's as long as the rattlesnakes don't follow them here from Texas. I am about 30 miles north of Effingham Il. near Lake Shelbyville. So far I have not seen either one LOL.
