Yes they my call ASV for you. ASV will say,**** NAW. They will say sorry we can't really help. I am putting this out there so maybe Buck will read it and defend his company and help you out.

I say this with not a single vested interest in the brush cutting industry or in Terex/ASV the company other than knowing some guys who do it and owning an RC50 and a S220.

I find it entirely entertaining how you post on this forum continuously bagging a product (ASV) like you have an axe (no pun intended) to grind. Especially this last post. I'm sure you really care deeply about whether or not "Buck" will "defend his company".

While I can't speak for other posters on this forum, and I definitely can't stop you from your nit picking, I must tell you that it makes you look twisted and bitter, like you feel that you've been given the short end of the stick somewhere along the line. If you have, let it go and move on.

As far as Buck helping; I can say that I've never seen an employee of any other major OEM (CAT, Bobcat, Case, NH, Deere, etc.) PUBLICLY announce his position and offer to help sort out a problem for a customer...not one on this forum, or any others.

Now, as far as I'm concerned, the fact that he even posted on here speaks volumes about not only him, but also the company he works for. So you can continue on with your whining and dart throwing, or you can offer some constructive material to the content of other's questions and discussions. I'm sure that you have some to offer.

This is a public forum and a place for people to freely voice there comments. You say your not a mulcher. So maybe you have no working knowledge of what it takes to survive the business then maybe you do. If you have no comment based on the subject and just wish to judge what individuals comments are . Then maybe you should keep your mouth shut. Or simply not choose to comment on a non vested intrest.
I have owned three ASV RC 100's in Three years. Suffered through major expenses. Some through dealer mistakes. I still got zero relief. And lost thousands. I have been there. I have delt with the names I mention. I'm not just sitting on the side lines as you seem to be. Yes I am bitter about my experience. But the title is ASV Broke. Been there.

I forgot, if you make a negative comment you should know a little about which you speak.
Buck stepped up in a big way for an individual on this forum and commented on this forum about doing so. It was Great. Without this forum the help may not have been offered.

I purchased my machine brand new & since then have not recieved anything from the company in form of recalls, potential problems, or anything. If is wasn't for this forum I would have no clue!!!!
I wasn't whining I was making a comment about the other message the guy said that when he bought his machine they would try an help out on the cost. Just saying thats a far cry!!!

I have a friend that has a Bobcat, bought used with 80hrs on it. Now just around 600 hrs & a drive motor went out. When it is all said & done, bobcat is paying for the motor & the owner pays labor & fluids. Now that is service & helping the customer out!!!

Until you own one YOU just DON"T KNOW!!!

I didn't make a negative comment, and I never said anything about your right to comment (you are correct tha this is a public forum). And I'm not passing judgement. To each his own. I only commented on the fact that it seems like you snivel quite a bit on here. Maybe you should evaluate your business practices if you've owned three ASVs and they've been such a problem.

I would think that from my perspective and experience as a former Bobcat salesman and now contractor and owner of a ASV RC50 and Bobcat S220 that most customers will switch brands or machines before they own three machines with the same problems. Unless of course you feel that the first, second or third machine has provided you with good value. It appears from your posts that this isn't the case so it makes me wonder why you bought three of them. I have sold machines to guys doing land clearing and know a few guys that work for a very large landclearing company up here in Wisconsin. So while I don't mulch for a living I have some knowledge of the the market and the equipment used in it.

I agree with you fully that ASV/Buck stepped up "in a big way" for the guy with an engine. My comment was pointed at the fact that ASV is the only company I have ever seen "publicly" post on a forum to help a guy. That is a very good thing.

It is very likely that other OEMs have PM'ed a guy to sort his problems out.

And of course, without sarcasm, I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors.

BTW...instead of "calling out to Buck if he's out there", why don't you just call ASV? They are one of the only OEMs that you can call directly 1-800-346-4367. Just ask for him or Tim. i have talked to the service department often if I've hada question.

I'm not saying the forum isn't a good one. It is.

I didn't say you were whining. I was directing my comments to Ax Man. Just call ASV- 800-346-4367 or 218-327-3434. Good luck.
