Obed, It has been a very good thread with some great information. I'm real happy for you and your family to get to this point. Maybe a lot less stress now.
If you don't mind, I am wondering what it cost to do the drywall work. Hang it, tape and sanding, ready for painting. Was this done by an hourly rate or by the square foot cost with material included or not.
Reason I ask is that I am looking for someone to do some drywall work and don't know what the going rate is. If you would rather not let out any costs, I understand.
Good luck with moving in and getting settled.
Clayton

Thanks all for celebrating with us. Last night when I got into bed, it was like staying at a nice bed and breakfast. The bed was sooo comfortable compared to the camper bed.

Today we backed the storage trailer into its spot beside the camper. It seemed easier to back it in today than it was to pull it out forward on Friday. Today we could do it in the daylight which really helps. Plus, moving the trailer empty is less stressful than pulling it full.

We went to Lowes this afternoon to get a shower rod so we can take a shower.

This morning I took a bath in the claw foot tub, it was quite a treat. However I found out the upper overflow drain for the tub leaks badly. I guess the next few weeks will be filled with appreciating being able to live in a house and finding out all the things that don't work.

Looking at that picture makes me feel right at home. We have 40 acres and every vehicle ends up being parked right next to another one.
