Athens ???? Good Quality????

Regarding offset discs, is Athens a quality brand? I found a used one locally and have not had experience with this brand. thanks

Athen and Rhino are the same brand. The upper end equipment is high quality and well built. The Rhino name is far more recognizable. Doing a Google search should bring up more information.

I just sold a light duty Athens/Rhino 6' 3-point tandem disc that had been bent up by the previous owner. A torch was used to straighten the frame and it worked very well after that.

Before you buy, check the bearings for signs of grease. Replacing bearings can be unpleasant and costly. For some reason there are folks that just don't grease their discs.
