Backhoe Attaching a 3 Pt Backhoe

Thanks for the help, I think I'm starting to understand it.

Attached are some pics of rough assembly/alignment of the mounting hardware to the tractor.

Please let me know if this appears correct.

Another question (more to come I'm sure); With the hoe attached that way what is there from keeping the hoe from lifting while digging? The arms don't have any down pressure on them so again is the top link taking all the load? Or will the hoe rise up?

Brent, Where do your diagnal links attach to at the tractor?

That diagonal link is what keeps you lift arms from lifting, or it should.

The dual toplinks you see in my photo connect to the backhoe just below where the regular toplink connects and at the tractor there is a bracket connected to the drawbar. My liftarms don't move an inch.

How are you making out? You want to set it up for about 10-12" of clearance,The diagnal braces control the height.I usually blace the bars in the foward hole and secure them with the pin for the lift arm.You will probally need to adjust it a bit shorter to keep the seat level.Thanks for buying !! Ive sold quite a few in the past couple of weeks.They are similar to mazzotti but a different Italian factory makes them.Run the pto at 540 RPM

HOLD IT - DOING IT WRONG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Follow the directios to the letter. In the order listed. Don't try to mount the brackets without the hoe attached.
Those yellow brackets do not pin on the lift arms they bolt to the BH only. See attachment above.

Thanks, got it home okay but as you can see from my posts I'm scratching my head about installation. Should have brought a camera when I was out at your place to have some pics of the installation. The memory isn't what it used to be /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I stand corrected.
Sure looks like it still could have been hooked up as I thought.
