attaching woods tgs50 to jd2320

fellow members i have a jd2320 with power beyond that i want to attach a woods tgs50 to but the dealer says that i will need a special valve to do this and want 1700.00 for it. what will i need to attach the tgs50. thx

Is this what you want to hook up? This is a 3pt stump grinder.

yes sir, the dealer wants 3300.00 for the grinder and another 1700.00 for the valve. thank you for you reply.

You need a two spool valve to move the hyd cyl for swing, and up/down.

Do you have remotes at the back now, or do you have a PB outlet on a valve?

This is an 8 GPM valve.

yes sir, the tractor has pb one outlet connection and one return connection. when not in use they are looped together.

There are LOTS of threads on installing/using stump grinders if you search.

In short, all you need is a 2-spool Open Center valve and "plug" it into the PB hoses on you machine. Then connect the cylinders to the work ports of the valve. Probably cost about $500 to do with all the hoses, valve and fittings.
