I added a valve (go to a hydraulic shop...not the box store; we have about 10X the pressure requirement) in line with the quick connect on my BH and what a world of difference!!
I don't have a schematic, but I'm sure that PT put a valve in line with the return instead of a two port valve; thus the hoses are a bugger to couple while running. (Forgetting this fact, I poured a gallon of oil on the ground while I had the fitting removed and moved the tractor.)
With the valve, I just leave the BH coupled....valve open while attaching front. Reach down and close it while I'm climbing back on....too slick!!!
On slight downside, I had to cap one set of my 3pt ports to get the angle I wanted without cutting off part of the fender. Not a bad thing anyway.....one step closer to my longer term goal of having an auxillary front control (for a swinging stumper or a pivoting bucket). Also, I have a mechanically adjustable top link for the 3pt [another someday] so "no problem."
