Hey, on my 85 Chevy pickup I have to do that because there is no door lock on the drivers side door outside... it fell out! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Casters on all four corners looks like it would take care of that pesky line we get if we turn too tight too fast.

The mower wheels do scub a bit -- but I've seen it argued that sometimes that is good /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif http://www.hitch-buddy.com/
Bubenberg has had one of his Acrease wing mowers modified with casters all around, with an adapter plate so it goes on the front of his PT and thus has no power drain for the blades. It was tested with shafts behind Steve Fisher's road horse, but I haven't heard from Hans about his tests. I'll ping him.

/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gifSorry, I don't see the connection! What does towing a trailer have to do with the fixed wheels on the Brush Cutter???? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Only significant if you reverse the wheels.

The attachment I miss most from the PT line is something the separate rocks from soil. I have been searching the web for anything that might fit a PT-425.

A company called Absolute Innovations that apparently focuses on needs of horse owners and operators has a few interesting items, the TR3 Rake, the Rock King bucket, and the Rascal leveler. Although they are made for skip loaders they say the should be adaptable to 425 size machines.

Is anyone at Power Trac reading this thread?

I could definitly use one of those! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Three sides of my yard are fine but the forth side has always been a nightmare. I've only used hand methods to remove rocks (picking up, raking, shoveling, etc.) and after hours and hours I got it to the point where I can mow, with the deck high, but I sure would like to find a better way to clean that side of the yard up. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Why not rent a stone rake that you can tow behind you? They are height adjustable and if set too low can dig up your turf a bit but I used one recently and cut down on the manual picking a lot! Gathered the stones in one area and used the bucket to remove and dump elsewhere.

All of my rock removal to date was pre-PT. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Now that I have the 180 I need to relook at the project from a tractor standpoint. I don't have a big enough use for purchasing an attachment for rock removal so I have to figure out what I can rent and how I can attach it to the PT. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Why not build your own.
