ATV 2 Seater??

The Can Am is a first class unit. Honda also makes great product. You can't go wrong with either. I own the 800 Can Am Max (Max is for two people, has second seat, higher up, second set of running boards higher up, handholds, backrest). Yes, it is powerful, but no, it will not flip over. I also own a few sport quads and know how to wheelie a machine. The Can Am will not wheelie due to the long wheelbase. Drive one, compare it to the Honda model. You will buy the Can Am.

It does run warm from the exhaust on a hot summer day. CanAm is aware of this and may be offering additional heat shielding, I have heard.

There were a lot of posts and videos showing people doing extended wheelies (1/4 mile) with their Can Am 800's and 800 Max's at least when they first came out. .... Just did a search to refresh my memory and people say they wheelie their 800 Max's but not as easy as the single seater. Nice to know that it is not so easy though!

I have a Artic Cat TRV500 two up machine....... I has worked very well ....

I NH you can't ride the trails if your not registered . NH Fish and game and the local police are patroling the trails looking for unregistered machines... If your machine is over 50 inches wide it is not considered a ATV and can't be registered as a ATV. So the side by sides are nice around the homestead but can't be used on the trails in NH...

The state trails also have gates to keep cars out ... The opening won't allow the side by sides through......

All the TRVes are very stable and fun to ride with someone....

If you are not going too fast, any utility ATV with this seat box from cabelas will do.
I got a Yamaha Grizzly 660 4x4? The new 700 EFI is even nicer.

I missed this thread when it was new, but I see nobody mentioned the Bristers/Tractor Supply Co side-by-sides. They only go 20 mph so not for speed demons but they are only 47" wide so narrow trails shouldn't be a problem.

Did you ever get an ATV?

I have 2 Bombardier/Can-am 400 Outlander Max, one an 05, one a new 07 XT version. They are great 2 rider machines with Max speed in mid 50s with my 275# and wifes 145# in the seats. When my brother rode mine in fall 05, we stopped and grabbed one at the dealership the same day. went with the XT this spring which added a winch, hand savers, upgraded wheels/tires. Came with free extended warranty for 3 years with only $50 deductible after first 6 months.

So much going on right now we decided to wait tad...new tike motorcycle tranny shaft broke w/in,Wife facing surgey,City increase taxes $1.000 more for view tax...that's $1.000 every 6 months,Weather made a lot of extra work around here...hopeing before the snowflakes start dancing we'll be puttering through the wood.

Just want to put my two cents in for those interested.
I have one of the Polaris X2 that we bought about a year ago. It is a 500cc model with fuel injection.
We really like it. I am 6'3" and about 250, my wife rides with me and it has power to spare even going up some pretty good hills on our 20 acres.
Nice storage in the front and the little bed in the back tilts to dump stuff if you want. The rear seat folds up out of the tilt bed and allows the passenger to sit up a bit higher.
With all the snow we had this past winter I was truly amazed how this thing got around in it. It was unstoppable.
