I was not aware of the JD 21. Looks like a nice trailer.

To Redman 135, we have always called our soil "Gumbo Mud". I failed to consider the possibility of mud sticking to the wheels and binding it up. There is not a lot of clearance between the tires. That will be something I'll keep an eye on.

I did install stake pockets so can easily have a headboard and sideboards.

I have a MUTS that I love. I managed to get the mesh side extensions with mine...the best decision I could have made! I move more manure/bedding mix than anything else (so far) and it is easy to overload my trailer, but it hasn't suffered from it yet. It tows really nicely behind my RTV 1100.

Additional options you might look into are the DR Versa or T-Rex...there are likely others that I don't know about.

Do you have any close up pics of those bed extensions? They don't make that style any more and I would like to make a set for my trailer. Thank you!
