Audio Only Player for Satellite TV ??

Now, that's a possibility. Pretty sure there's a spare iPad or Surface laying around we could use. Never heard of Dish Anywhere before now, but I'm warming to the idea. Receivers have audio outputs already. Hmmm ... that could work.

You might want to look at the Amazon Echo or Google Home. I use mine (Google Home) to stream in a Talk-News channel I don't have available via the airwaves. I know there are a myriad of stations I get thru Tunein.

Dish Network.

Do you have a tablet or smartphone? I wonder if you can't stream that through Mydish.com. It streams disc content to your phone. You log in using your Dish account credentials.

Option 2: Amazon Echo, Google Home or similar device. Works on your wi-fi. Let's you stream Pandora, iHeart Radio, Google Play Music.

I"m a big fan of Pandora and iHeart. You can select stations or create stations around a particular artist. I stream off of my phone in the car, on the bicycle-even use a blue tooth speaker at home in the shop. With iHeart, you can also listen to live radio stations anywhere in the world. So I can listen to my local radio when I am out of town or listen to out of town stations at home.

Not a fan of the way Pandora works, unless it has changed from the early days. I used to have to spend too much time managing the stations I set up, and didn't really enjoy that (never did figure out why they would suggest Michael Jackson and Taylor Swift on a progressive rock/metal Dream Theater kind of station). Not really interested in that route.

As I said earlier, there is already a cable there from the satellite system we're already paying for. That's why I'm exploring options for using that.

Usually with Dish the main receiver can operate 2 separate TV's with one charge for the box then add the second single box only paying for 2 not sure if this is your setup but an idea.
