The chain squeezes and pipe bites. Often use both ends of chain. Steep terrain and trees often out of reach of grapple. Two people make quick work. Wife often prefers the ground work vs tractor. Then spray the little stuff seems most effective. Like pulling this time of year with dry or frozen ground. Less excitement from snakes and Yellowjackets. Thick pants and coats better to defend from briars and cushions the occasional fall. Soaked enough blood and sweat into the ground. Maybe that’s why the ground grows so good.

I used and Intimidator tree puller to clear out this little area. Was super impressed with. One cool thing about it is that when it's closed up it can be used like a stump spade.
