Gentlemen,

What all is required to add an aux. valve to a Kubota L5030. A customer of mine is buying a piece of equipment that demands auxiliary vavles and he has none on his Kubota. Is this a simple "bolt on" or is there more to it than that? Is there a hydraulic block that can be tapped into? Thanks for help in advanced.

YOU CAN PUT UP TO THREE REMOTES ON THIS MACHINE. GO SEE THE SERVICE MANAGER AT YOUR LOCAL KUBOTA DEALER. IT IS A WHOLEGOODS KIT AND ALL PARTS ARE INCLUDED. IT WILL FIT AND WORK BETTER THAN TRYING TO "TAP IN" AND THE RELIEF VALVES ON THE TRACTOR HYDRAULICS WILL PROTECT THE TRACTOR FROM PUMP DAMAGE.

This is for a L3130, but I'm sure they are set up the same.

Part numbers and installation for the remotes for all Grand L series Kubotas are the same. You will probably have to remove the wheel to make it easier.

Is there any advantage or disadvantage, to cost per remote, of purchasing one, two, or all three of the rear remotes at the same time, other than the obvious advantage, that it is easier to install all three remotes at once.

Only if your dealer gives you a discount. The stacking kit for each spool is different but the spools themselves are the same.

Is that true for the "10" series as well as the "30"?

Although I have nothing to verify that the 10 series parts are the same for all models, I would bet that they are.

However, the 10 series parts are different from the Grand L parts.

Mad,

My tractor is a 10 series and a grand L - Grand L3410 HST.

I know initially you could only buy aux valves that were not expandable. I seem to recall that the 30 series is now expandable. Price was about 1400 for a 3 spool valve and that is way out of line, do you know what the current price is for a 3 spool?

MSRP for the Grand L valves is just over $1400 for all 3 spools. That breaks down to just over $600 for the first and a little over $400 for each additional spool. Add another $50 per spool to add float. These are the factory stackable valves with lever assemblies beside the seat.
