Auxiliary Light Project

Well I decided to start a thread for this project after all. Some of you will have already seen the first picture and there will be more pictures after the front lights arrive and I get them mounted. The switch box and Whelen flasher are still about a week out.
I bent the brackets out of 1/8 x 3/4 x 36" Aluminum stock from my local hardware store. I started from the middle, measuring and bending my way to each end. I wound up having to cut approx. 1 1/2" off each end to make the overlap which I pop riveted together.

The brackets are mounted to the tractor using the rear bolts that hold the canopy to the canopy frame. The lights and brackets are quite rigid and have only Minor vibration at idle. The vibration seems to completely go away when you throttle up.
The flood lights will be just that. The amber lights will be tied into the Whelen flasher along with the soon to be front lights. The flasher has 4 available flash patterns.

I can't say as I like the Silver look of the aluminum.
So what color do you think they should be painted.
Blue to match canopy etc. or
Black to match the ROPS etc. ??????????

I'm thinking black.
