I have a white, two wire plug that isn't plugged into anything on the rear of my CK25. It is up under the little deck which covers the PTO and 3ph area. It isn't energized now, and I can't find any combination of things that seems to put power to it. I can't trace it because it goes into a wiring harness and it isn't mentioned anywhere in the owners manual. Does anyone know what it is for?

Second question. I need to find a source of 12v power for my spray rig (I was hoping I could use the plug mentioned above). All of the wires I find are pretty well shrouded in harnesses. Has anyone found a good place to tap into for auxiliary power without doing too much modification work?

Thanks for any info you can provide.

The back of my tractor has an auxilary plug(like a trailer connector) that I use for such stuff. Additionally, using the wiring diagram for my tractor, I found and auxilary line(purple and black in the dash, I think) that I use for rear facing lights. I would suggest you get a hold of the wiring diagram for your tractor. If there's not one in the owners manual, you may be able to order a shop manual. Its pretty tough to find the right wire without one unless you want to do lots of experimenting.

On my CK20, the white plug above the rear PTO was a connector for the circuit listed in the book as 15 amp Customer Use. I also found a set of plugs between the fuel tank and seat back that turned out to be the 10 amp Rear Light circuit. Don't know if the CK25 is configured the same, but it's worth a try. Neither of the plugs is energized unless the key is on.

The 25 doesn't have a rear fuel tank (unfortunately) so that circuit isn't there. I don't have power to the plug even when the ignition key is on. It just occured to me that they may not have put a fuse in the whit plug circuit since it wasn't intended to be used unless the owner hooked something up. I'll check it when I get home this afternoon.

OK, so I got home and checked. There is a "user use" fuse, it is inserted and is good. I also found a second unused plug tucked up under the right fender. This one is black, round and has room for 6 pins although only 5 are inserted (not like a 6 pin trailor plug, unfortunately) into the plug from the tractor side. Unfortunately, none of the pins on either plug has power regardless of the position of the ignition switch. I get a service manual on Saturday; I sure hope it has a wiring diagram that resolves this mystery.

I have a round plug on the back of my DK35 also, I assumed that it was for the cab to power the radio, heater, wipers etc.

On my CK20 the round plug near the fuel tank (i think has 5 pins) both signal lights, both brakelights and a ground. There was another two wire plug in the same vicinity as well that was (possibly labeled customer use or maybe rear work light) that was energized by the ignition switch.

Problem partly solved. The round plug is definately what would be a trailer plug, and the dealer said it fits Korean standard trailer hook ups. I will rewire it for american standard plug. The two wire plug is still a mystery. I can't find it on the wiring diagram in my new service manual, and still can't find any combination of switches etc. that puts power to it. I can at least now run the sprayer form the "trailer" plug even though I'll have to turn on the headlights to energize it.

On my JD, I ran as separate line from the battery to the rear of the tractor to operate a sprayer. I used a cable with one of those quick disconnects used for trickle chargers. That way I can quickly disconnect at the battery and hook of the trickle charger for the winter. I laced the cable through the tractor frame and left the rear connector hanging short at the rear of the tractor. Works great and is hot all the time.
