To TBN admin:

There are alot of members here who have avatars that I'd like to get a better look at. Like those who use photos of their equipment or views of their property for example.
It would be a nice to have the ability to see the avatar in "full size". You just can't pick out much detail from the thumbnail size you see on a post. Maybe there is a way to do this already...? Or maybe it is a feature you could add.

The avatar is limited to a certain size and that's what the person uploads.

It might be easiest to PM the person and ask them to post the full size picture.

I have often thought the same thing. I guess it is what we are used to with computers, click on the small picture to see the big picture. It would be nice.

Try right clicking the aviator.
Choose send picture to e-mail
send e-mail to yourself
then you can open attachment and blow it up

It's still going to be small and if you blow it up it will be poor quality.

Avatars are limited to 20k byte and that makes a very small picture depending on the resolution. It is best to ask for a full size or at least 640x480 pix cell to see better detail.
