Aw32 question ?

Are all Aw32 hydraulic oils compatible with yellow metals. I know with gear oil it needs to have Mt-1 rating.Just wondering if hydraulic fluids have a different rating or are they all compatible?

Hydraulic oils, are formulated from paraffinic base stocks and don't use sulfur as an EP additive like some gear oils do. They are safe with "yellow metals".
Most gear oils will contain a metal deactivator (which they may or may not state) to prevent copper based metals from acting as a catalyst that promotes oil oxidation.
