Today it has been 4 weeks since I fractured my ribs (6 of them). Progress is slow but steady. I can sleep on my side for about a half hour, then I have to revert to my back, with a wedge pillow under my shoulders, resembling a recliner.
A couple days ago I decided to ātestā myself and tried to do some push-ups and sit-ups. I only did 10 of each, but I think it was too soon, as Iām more tender now.
Getting old is a real pain in the butt.
Metal is on the roof. What a relief. My second helper didnāt show so I made about 30 trips up and down the ladder, but never actually got on the roof.
