Got rid of my l3600 before moving, looking to try to get a smaller tractor for everyweek mowing/chores prettysold on b series just cant figure out why three tractors so close in size ;makes deciding harder, any suggestions thanks

I know what you mean as I was in same situation a couple weeks ago. For what its worth I went with a B2620 since it should have enough power to do any loader and blade work needed while still be small enough to get in tighter spots. If you want to spend the cash for a 2920 you might also just consider a small L series. Have you driven any models yet?

Thats what my wife said pick the one in the middle the l is a little to large for what i want i had a l3600 when i lived on the east coast but want to use this for mowing and other small loader tasks do you know if the backhoes for these models is a ridged mount thanks

I went with the B2920 with a BH. The main reason for the 2920 is if you need higher PTO HP to run a chipper, generator or other implement that needs more HP. I run a chipper on mine. I did look at the other two models. I noticed in looking that the B2620 and B2920 used models sold pretty much immediately, but the B2320's seemed to sit longer (I was only looking at TLB's). The hydraulics on the B2920 seemed to have more power than the B2320, I think there's a difference, but it isn't much, but the B2920 can pick itself up and move itself around with the BH, which is nice. I personally am of the belief that you can't add power after the fact and at least I seem to find new uses for the tractor all the time, so the more power the better. The B2920 definitely has more power than weight/ traction, I suspect the B2620 would also.

Out of the three, I like the 2620 the best. Really, any of them will run out of traction before they run out of HP. I would consider the 2920 if you need alot of PTO HP, such as running a snow blower, brush chipper, etc. All around use I see the 26 as a great bang for the buck.

sounds good does anyone know if the backhoes on these models are frame mount thats something i would love to get in the future seems by specs pto hp is 18,19 21 all pretty close

I had a B2620, the quarter inching valve on the 3pt was a little bit of a pita, otherwise, great tractor. One suggestion, go to tractor parts.com and get the adjustable links to replace that stupid turnbuckle thing.

Taking the mower off isn't as easy as the John Deere drive overs, but it isn't bad with a loader in the tractor.

These come with the BH65, which is mounted on a subframe that attaches to the tractor frame and stays there. The drivers seat reverses for the BH. Its super easy to put on and take off and the 3pt is fine with the subframe on. I often switch between the BH and 3pt implements multiple times during the day and the entire switch is maybe 5 minutes.

2920 blows snow like an animal.....cheapest horsepower upgrade at the time of purchase......who ever said "I wish I had less HP?".
