Mine too. I intend to make an attempt to get my ride soon. I really need a new tractor; I just hope old one holds out until I get my P-51 ride!

This bomber is going to fly! B-29 Doc just got its FAA airworthiness certificate. The restoration crew will now ask the Air Force for permission to use the non-joint-use runway at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita for test flights.

I had the privilege of hanging around this B-29 FIFI for a month or so back when I worked at the local airport. They brought it and a B17 in for static display as a fundraiser for the Confederate Air Force, now the Commemorative Air Force. They also brought in a B-17. They were both something to see.

My fathers birthday present some years ago.



I believe that plane ended destroyed landing in a corn field a couple years ago.
