B1700 Front Axle Venting

never had trouble with my b 1700 till I started putting it in a heated shop after blowing snow, next morning after the tractor was warm there were oil spots on the floor. this time I loosened the filler and no trouble. definitely needs a vent. on a vehicle if your vent plugs, it blows the seals and ruins your brakes. unless you have a very large housing, the pressure gets extreme.
