I had a B20 for 15 years, it is a simple rugged TLB, it had the auto return backhoe which was a problem. The dealer replaced the auto return with the spool kit that Kubota made to replace the AR. I only put 1060 hrs on it in 15 years. It served me well, but i,m trading it for a L4400HST I hope I won't regret it. I wanted a bigger tractor. If I kept the B20 it would last another 30 years with a bit of care. The dealer was very interested in getting the B20 in trade. I hope I didn't make a mistake.

What is the "auto return" backhoe?

I am aware of the BT750, which came with the B20. It was replaced by the
BT751, which came with the B21.

My B-20 had the auto return also. It was a switch that you pushed and your boom would return to the exact same position on the swing. You would position your boom where you wanted it then push the button and it would turn and stop at that position every time until you pushed the button again. I liked mine when new. It was nice for digging graves. It was like a safety feature for me to keep from hitting a grave marker.After few months though, I hardly used it.

tbay: New to the site and not quite sure how to post.

I have searched and searched for a repair for my BT750 auto return feature. My dealer said $1800 to replace all of the hydraulics. I ran through the entire circuitry and it appears the "black box" is not outputing signal to the swing solenoids so it won't go left or right. I tried repositioning, then tunring off and on per the manual but the green light always blinks which the manual says should not be happening.

Suggestions of repair or finding the spool kit you refer to?
