Just a quick question. Is the hoe on the b21 tractors strong enough to lift them off the ground considerably? With the stablizers I mean. Here's a cool site I came across today. It's annoying because you click on the pictures, and when you go to save them, it goes back to this original picture of the operator. Oh well. :)

I'd have to say yes. I have a BX22 and can move around just fine with the use of the stabilizers and hoe. I think the B21 is just as strong if not STRONGER!?!? I'm sure someone will know.

Yes I often crabwalk my b21 along aproject by lifting the hoe end clear of the stabilizers and skoootching left or right.
And to think in the beginning I used to raise the stabilizers, reverse the seat, move the tractor over a few feet and do it all over again. Now with a little foresight I can cover a lot more ground without ever getting out of the backhoe seat.
I have yet to have the opppurtunity to traverse a new trench with this method as the big boys do, but I am sure the B21 can do it. It really is an amazingly powerful package for its size. I have had mine for two years now (just got a bi annual survey from Kubota today) and it has lived up to my high expectations

PEMAD- If you can get me to each picture of the backhoe that would be great. I think they're all very nice pictures.

MDBARB- I do that same technique with my big case backhoe. I also scoot back and forth with it when I need to. If I need to just move a little distance, I bring everything up just a little, and pop the backhoe forward or in reverse while still sitting backwards. This isn't a good idean obviously if you're in a tight space.

Yep, I agree with mdbarb and move my B21 around that way all the time. It is not your large Case but a very capable TLB for its size. If I were mdbarb I might use it to move my neighbor around a bit, though that is another story./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Thanks for the replies you guys. I was just curious. It's a little decieving just because their stablizers are so thin looking.
