B2150 Losing Power Under Moderate Workload

My B2150 starts and runs fine. This last winter however I noticed that it would begin to lose power towing our manure spreader. It would almost sound like it was missing. I would let it sit for a minute or so at idle and then could continue on without issues.
Today while brushhogging it did the same thing several times and on one occasion actually stalled. It started back up and after idling for a bit I continued on.
Fuel filter is new.
Any ideas?

Does your tractor smoke when you have the loss of power.

Sounds like not getting enough fuel. Check the fuel line from the tank and make sure it is not obstructed.

A friend recently had the same problem on a Chinese tractor and it turned out to be rubber fuel line that kind of collapsed inside.

I just sold my B2150, great tractor. Try this the next time it stalls or slows down. Loosen the fuel tank cap and see if it picks back up. If it does then you need to clean the vent on the cap or get a new one. Also you may have a blockage in your fuel line that is allowing partial fuel flow. You could break open the line to the shut off and blow air back through the line to see if it's blocked. Please let us know how you make out.:thumbsup:

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried the cap trick to the fuel tank. That was not the issue.
What was the issue was an additional in-line fuel filter. Some prior owner must have thought that this would help to keep the main filter cleaner. I removed it completely. The tractor now runs great.
