B2150 Won\'t start
I have a problem with my B2150 in that it will crank, but not start.
I was running it and stopped for lunch. It has run fine for about 8 years with no problems. It has about 300 hrs on it. I went to start it after lunch and it would just crank. No smoke, no ignition
, just cranks.
I opened the hood and much to my surprise were 2 dead mice near the injector pump. After changing the fuel filter(it was very dirty, it was last changed about 2 yrs ago) I opened the bleeder valves and tried again and it still would not start. I can see the bladder pump that is pumping to the injector pump is getting fuel. If I disconnect one of the lines to an injector, it gets no fuel. I've checked the shutoff valve that controls the injector pump and it appears to be operating
correctly. i.e. is in the correct position when I'm cranking it.
I've checked the voltage to the glow plugs and its getting voltage. I haven't checke the glow plugs, because it appears I'm
not getting any fuel to the injectors. Can the injector pump get clogged? At this point I'd like to take the injector pump out and inspect it, but I can't seem to get it out easily. Does the engine
need to be in a certain position to remove the injector pump?
Stumped and not a mechanic.
