So question bush hog is working fine. But as far as engagment all the buah hogs I have used before their blade were on a hindges. This bush hog is not maybe because its so small? Here my question I lower the bush hog tractor running at idle push clutch move pto lever to engage 540rpm release the clutch quickly and it real seems to bog the motor. What can I do to assist I wouldn't think I'd wanna slip the clutch I've just never had this reaction on other tractors.

Slip the clutch a bit when engaging a bush hog if you have that option. Many tractors don't have a clutch to slip so the electronic switch just bangs in which is bad on the tractor and bushhog if the throttle is set too high. Throttle down as much as you can without stalling the engine before engaging the clutch. It wont hurt the clutch to slowly engage it for starting the mower, just ease it up to start it spinning, 2 seconds at most for slipping the clutch. It is easier on your tractors drive line to do it that way compared to just dumping the clutch like a dragster. Clutches are made to slip a bit upon engagement, but drive shafts don't like to be twisted or torqued a bunch which is what you are doing by dumping the clutch.
