I was talking with Rich Trethewy from This Old House some time back and we got talking about Norm Abrams of the New Yankee Workshop. Rich said, "Oh, Norm never changes router bits. He justs gets the router that has that bit in it." You and Norm are a lot alike. He doesn't need as much storage space as you, but!

If you'd like John, I can probably put you in touch with the producers so you can have your own PBS tractor show. Brady can sponsor! I'd watch that show! You could travel around showing everyone how to.
You talk to Rich or Norm or Steve or Roger, you tell them they are my heros. Watched them for years. I started watching back when it started with Bob Villa.
I'm up for that tractor show. Get them to come to Ky and I'll give them a guided tour of Ky (bring their cameras) they'll never forget and even let them drive my Kubotas.:D

Way to go John, I still working on my second tractor. Barlows is trading for a b3200 tlb from Devildog, and I was hopping to work something out on that, when My friend with a L3700SU TLB thinks he will sell me His now. I like the smaller size, but for the same price, don't know which way to go. The only problem is the L3700 is in PA, and I would have to go get it. And Barlows Deleivers. The L3700 only has 15 hours, and I put most of them on it. He bought the tractor to clean up a old home site, and a family member with a land scape busness came in with a track hoe, and dump truck and did the whole thing already.

I never took it as critical. Most of us on here can accept comments from those we know are BROTHERS or at least cousins.:) (Kubota Cousins):D

OK, Bota brother. I started thinking about what I said and wanted to make sure you did not take it the wrong way. :) Once again, congrats!!!

Ordered last Friday over the phone. Steve Barlow said it would be in next week with their other orders.
OK, it's next week. Actually Tuesday of next week. Should I call to see if it's there or stop by tomorrow when I go by on my way to or from work?
What is the best way to act to keep from acting to anxious? Should I wait till Thursday or Friday?
When it gets there, if I know it's arrived, should I take pictures of it still crated? Should I post pictures of it at Barlows in the crate or only after it's final dealer assembly or just when I get it delivered?
Should I ask for hats? If so, how many?

Both. Call first and then stop by to double check.

Easy. Talk about the weather or buy something real cheap like a tube of grease.

Should I wait till Thursday or Friday?
Wednesday. Tuesday night if you're not too busy. :p

When it gets there, if I know it's arrived, should I take pictures of it still crated?
Definitely. Video too! :cool2:

Both. Mandatory requirement. :D

Should I ask for hats? If so, how many?

Stopped yesterday and no tractor for me at Barlows on Wednesday. Told Steve Barlow I wanted pictures of it in the crate. He told me "No problem, he'd just deliver it to me in the crate when it arrived". I told him I could probably put the wheels, steering wheel and seat on and top up fluids. He smiled (Steve Barlow smiled???) and said "There's a little more to it than that".
Told him I'd just wait then and let them do the final assembly and he can deliver it complete at the rental property 2 miles west of him on Hwy 80.
.. ...
Gary called this morning (Thursday) and said my crated tractor is there. I'll just stop by tomorrow and take pictures.:)
